The Château du Baffy lies on the edge of the small village of Colombiers, situated between Caen and Bayeux, just 6km or so from the seaside resort of Courseulles. Guests will enjoy the best of both worlds combining a stay in the beautiful Normandy countryside with superb beaches close to hand.

Colombiers is a traditional Normandy hamlet with a historic church and typical Normandy style buildings.

Creully is 2kms away and is a larger village whose own Château de Creully was the BBC's communication centre during the Normandy landings. There are a number of shops, bars, a crêperie and every Wednesday morning there is a small regional market in the town square.

For the more active we have bicycles for hire and a Tennis court for our guests. If you're a keen golfer there are no less than six golf courses to choose from, the nearest being just twenty minutes drive.
